Trauma

When we think of trauma, we often picture extreme events—combat, accidents, or disasters. But trauma comes in many forms. If you've ever minimized your own pain because it “wasn’t bad enough,” you’re not alone.

Trauma can stem from a single event—like an accident, medical procedure, or assault—or it can be ongoing, such as childhood neglect or emotional abuse. People respond to trauma in different ways, and symptoms can range from anxiety and sleep issues to dissociation, isolation, or even PTSD.

Therapy creates a safe space to process what happened—at your own pace. Together, I can help you understand your experience, build healthier coping strategies, and reconnect with a sense of safety and wholeness in your life.
