Grief and Loss
Loss is a natural part of life, and grief is the emotional response that follows it. Whether it involves the death of a loved one, a breakup, a health crisis, or the loss of a long-held dream, navigating through grief can be one of life’s most challenging experiences.
Grief doesn’t only occur after a death. It can also arise from moving to a new place, changing jobs, experiencing infertility or a miscarriage, dealing with illness, losing a pet, or letting go of a way of life. What feels significant to you is valid, even if others do not fully understand it.
There is no “right” way to grieve. However, when loss goes unprocessed or emotions are suppressed, it can lead to deeper issues such as depression, anxiety, or numbing behaviors. Therapy can provide a compassionate space to explore your grief, understand your emotions, and begin to heal at your own pace.
